A very stanford - inspired doodle

Was in Palo Alto today visiting my parents and my brother and I was reminded of the plethora of Asian nerds

Storyboarding - DJesus Uncrossed.

This exercise is from the first 45 seconds of the SNL clip, "Djesus Uncrossed". 

I was interested in seeing what made the clip so humorous and how the cuts work. As far as I could tell,  after the promos for Django and Inglourious there were about ~27 cuts for 56 shots. I noticed there were several scenes which slowly closed in on characters in sequential shots, and several quick zoom outs.

Here are three versions/angles of the two opposing trees from my Visual Development class. I am trying to make a sharp contrast between the two. The last two are more developed, include lighting and perspective etc. They will probably be subject to change.

I thought everyone took on a very different appearance after those traumatic last four seconds. Kappernick was kind of handsome and revered before the game but that's all he looked like to me afterwards.
