Last wednesday I went to Occupy Oakland to take pictures for class. It being the scene of one of the most violent protests in the country , I was extremely hesitant but this ended up being very peaceful. People are definitely still angry but for the most part it reminded me of Bonnaroo but with speeches instead of artists.
